Decorating with Wood Framed Signs

We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that this new year is already off to a great start! Today I'd like to talk about wood signs and how simple, beautiful and relatively inexpensive they are to decorate a large wall space with. Wood signs with custom lettering, images, and quotes are very trendy in home decor right now.

I’ve had a few friends on Instagram and visitors on YouTube requesting me to share ideas on how to decorate with the wood framed sign art we have. The best advice is to keep it simple. Decorating with a no more than a few signs per room (depending on how big the room is) is just enough.

You can also bundle the signs together to make a collage. Signs that are similar or have a similar look are best placed in a group or gallery wall. You can accent with a floral arrangement or a basket to tie it into together. A gallery wall allows you to display a plethora of artwork on a single wall, transforming your space into an art show. You can also swap out the pieces of wall art according to the season or year to shake things up.

With smaller signs I like to place them on a table or shelf for a more causal look. This works best for signs with quotes. Using signs on tables is also great if you love to switch up your decor often. Another obvious placement for a wood sign, is our Home sign. It’s in the entryway and the first thing we see after a long day. I’ve always kept a home or welcome theme in our entryway because it just feels natural. We have a large selection of home signs to choose from.

Decorating with wood framed wall signs is so much fun and adds a little charm to a space! it’s time for you to face the fun part and shop for those pieces that will transform your wall into a conversation piece. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all things art and home decor, look no further than Mulberry Market Designs.
